Alpine lakes from Fagaras Mountains

Urlea Lake (4 m deep, occupying an area of 20150 sqm, at an altitude of 2170 m) it is found in the circus of Urlea and Pojorta Valleys between debris. At 2150 m, in the same valley, there is another lake, smaller, Urlea II that dries in dry years.

Lake of Mogos (at an altitude of 2,150 m) it is found at S of the Peak of Mogos, besides touristic routes.

Vistisoara Lake (at an altitude of 2200 m) it is found under Saua Vistisoarei, in Caldarea Vistisoara Valley and is a small lake.

Podragu Mare Lake (15.5 m deep, occupying an area of 28,550 sqm at an altitude of 2140 m) it is found in the Caldarea Podragului, near tourist cottage Podragu.

Podragu Mic Lake (3.9 m deep, occupying an area of 2400 sqm, at an altitude of 2140 m) it is found in the Caldarea Podragului, near tourist cottage Podragu.

Podragel Lake (3.9 m deep, occupying an area of 7110 sqm at an altitude of 2030 m) it is found in a glacial valley of Podrăgel.

Balea Lake (11.35 m deep, occupying an area of 46,508 sqm at an altitude of 2034 m) it is found in one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in the Fagaras Mountains, in the middle of which was built cottage most populated from massive of which it passes the Transfagarasan road.

Tarn Taul Buteanului (at an altitude of 1835 m) is on the N-E slope of Netedului edge, near the forest.

Doamnei Lake (2 m deep, occupying an area of 3,000 square meters, at an altitude of 1865 m) it is found at Obarsia of Doamnei Valley, under glacial cirques superior.

Avrigului Lake (occupying an area of 14770 sqm) it is found in the upper Caldarea of Avrigului Valley under N wall of Ciortea.

Ciortei Lake (at an altitude of 2140 m) is outside the tourist trails, in the Obarsia Budislavului Valley and it is a very small lake.

Caltun Lake (11.8 m deep, occupying an area of 7751 sqm, at an altitude of 2135 m) is under Caltun mountain, on whose shore lies a refuge Rescue.

Lakes of Paltinului (at an altitude of 2,150 m) is in the Long Columbine of Paltinu Mountain.

Capra Lake (8 m deep, occupying an area of 18340 sqm, at an altitude of 2230 m) is under Saua Caprei, under the main ridge. Water from Capra Lake flows into Caprita Lake.

Caprita Lake (1.5 m deep, occupying an area of 2180 sqm, at an altitude of 2228 m) is under Saua Caprei, under the main ridge. Water from Lake Caprita leaks underground.

Lakes from Museteica (at an altitude of 2100 m) are at the N-NW of Museteicii wall, in suspended circuses. Are outside of the touristic routes and very inaccessible.

Raiosu Lake (at an altitude of 2100 m) is at Obarsia of Raiosului Spring. It is a temporal lake, outside of touristic routes.

Buda Lake (at an altitude of 2080 m) is in the upper Caldarea of Buda Valley. Is outside the touristic routes, but can reach it by descent from the ridge route in point Nerlinger.

Podul Giurgiului Tarn (at an altitude of 2270 m) is in the Caldarea with the same name, being the first lake, from E of Arges basin.

Lake from Valea Rea, Vistea-Moldoveanu (2 m deep, occupying an area of 5000 sqm, at an altitude of 2156 m) is below the ridge of Moldoveanu - Vista Mare, at Obarsia Rea Valley. Rea Valley water flows in most spectacular waterfalls in the Fagaras.

Galbena Scarisoara Lake (9 m deep, occupying an area of 12,000 sqm, at an altitude of 2200 m) it is found in Caldarea Galbena towards Rea Valley. It is the largest and most beautiful lake on the southern versant of Fagaras Mountains.

Galbena IV Lake (1 m deep, occupying an area of 2,000 sqm, at an altitude of 2188 m) it is found in Caldarea Galbenei toward Rea Valley, below the Yellow Scărișoara Lake .

Manastirii Lake, Galasescu (2.5 m deep, occupying an area of 16,000 sqm, at an altitude of 2168 m) it is found in the Caldarea Rea Valley of Galasescul, under Saua Vistisoara. Hidden hikers going over its, on ridge route.

Bindea Lake it is find at Obarsia Izvorului Bindei, in Fundul Bindei mountain.It is a small lake, insignificant in terms of tourism.

Gemenu de Sus Lake (2.1 m deep, occupying an area of 3500 sqm, at an altitude of 2230 m) it is found in the Hartoapele Leaotei. Is outside the touristic routes, but easily accessible from routes of ridge or from Raului Doamnei Valley.

Gemenu de Jos Lake (0.7 m deep, occupying an area of 3500 sqm, at an altitude of 2190 m) it is found in the Hartoapele Leaotei. Is outside the touristic routes, but easily accessible from routes of ridge or from Raului Doamnei Valley.

Rosu Lake (3 m deep, occupying an area of 10,000 sqm, at an altitude of 2130 m) it is found in the Hartoapele Leaotei. Is outside the touristic routes, but easily accessible from routes of ridge or from Raului Doamnei Valley.

Zirna Lake (2 m deep, occupying an area of 5000 sqm, at an altitude of 1980 m) it is found in the basin by Obarsie of Zirnei Valley. From this river starts Zirna Lake.

Jgheburoasa Lake (2 m deep, occupying an area of 12000 sqm, at an altitude of 1958 m) it is found in the basin of Obarsia Zirnei Valley, the largest and most beautiful lakes from here.

Cerbului Lake it is found in Marginea mountain. It is a ridge lake, in a small dip.

Bratila Lake it is found in Curmatura Bratilei. It is a ridge lake, in a small dip.
